Judith Graley, Member for Narre Warren South, has advised me that she will not be seeking re-election at the 2018 state election.
Judith has been a strong voice for locals in the south east since she was first elected to the Victorian Parliament in 2006.
A former teacher, education is her great passion, and when we formed Government she was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Education.
She can be proud of her part in our Government’s achievements, building the Education State and handing down the state’s biggest-ever education budget.
In Narre Warren South, nine new schools, over $1 billion in road upgrades and an upgraded Casey Hospital are all real, lasting symbols of her advocacy.
I want to thank Judith for representing hardworking local people and always putting them first. I wish her all the best for the years ahead.
