Some of regional Victoria’s finest food, wine and fresh produce will be on show this May as part of the Regional Living Expo’s Put Victoria on Your Table initiative.

Minister for Regional Development, Jaala Pulford, launched the initiative today at Ravens Creek Farm, owned by farming couple Hayden and Jasmine Findlay.

Ravens Creek Farm near Geelong is one of 11 producers across the State that will be showcased at the Put Victoria on Your Table area at the Expo.

Visitors will be tempted with a host of regional offerings, including Ravens Creek Farm’s famous Italian-style meatballs made from grass-fed beef and farm-fresh herbs.

They will also be able to hear how owners Hayden and Jasmine reached their life-long dream of setting up a small self-sufficient farm.

A key part of the Expo, Put Victoria on Your Table, encourages consumers and industry to connect with local makers, growers, manufacturers and producers, to drive growth in Victoria’s food and wine industry.

The Expo, which runs from 1 -3 May at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, aims to increase investment in regional and rural Victoria.

The Expo also provides Melbourne residents and businesses with information about relocating to regional and rural Victoria, including jobs, housing, health, education and lifestyle opportunities.
